Dashawn’s nursing career journey:
"My journey into nursing began after I worked as a patient care partner at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Surrounded by truly exceptional nurses, I found myself inspired by their skill, grace, and generosity. Their encouragement was the light that guided me through nursing school, pushing me to reach for more. Now, after fifteen years working in long-term care, I’ve come to value the stories our residents share. My purpose renewed day after day, knowing the power of connection and compassion in the smallest, most human ways. "
Dashawn's thoughts on working with Lacroix:
